This is us. Brandon and Laura Fox: just married 20-somethings who are in love with life! We moved from Orlando, Florida to New York 4 years ago so that I could fulfill my dream.. attending the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. We lived in the quaint little town of Rhinebeck, New York where we embraced a real farm-to-table culture and immersed ourselves in a wonderful little community. After 21 months, I graduated, and we wondered what was next. During our time in New York, I spent 4 months living in Berkeley, California while doing an internship at Chez Panisse. Brandon visited numerous times and we took a couple of trips to Napa Valley. We were in love with the Valley... A place with a small town vibe that is obsessed with food and wine. We dreamt about moving on our visits, when we would dine in Yountville or walk through St. Helena, but we never thought it would become a reality. Our ambition and determination overcame our doubt and insecurities about the future, and we decided to follow our dreams. We packed up all of our things and our 3 animals, and moved across the country, again! We have been settled in the most wonderful home in St. Helena for just over 18 months now. We are both involved in the food and wine world and hope to one day have something of our own. Nailing down exactly what that special little place may be is the hard part but we are well on our way! Life is an adventure and we strive to appreciate every minute of it.
